We are delighted to announce the 1st LTSI Mid-term Meeting to be held from August 10-11, 2019 at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Gurugram, India. In keeping with the long-term goal of these meetings to focus on clinical practice, the theme will be “Grand Rounds in Liver Transplantation”.
The scientific program will be anchored on case scenarios, encapsulating our daily practice of liver transplantation, from recipient and donor selection, to recipient-donor matching, to specific diseases such as NAFLD and HCC, ABO-i transplantation, AKI, to challenges at surgery, anesthesia and post-operative management, to pediatric recipients.
The moderator will flag up conceptual issues in each case, and set the stage for short 6-8 minute talks by experts from India and across the globe. Extensive interaction with the audience and voting on most issues will be the highlight of this format.
Eventually, we all hope to emerge wiser about managing clinical problems in liver transplantation using the best available knowledge and experience.
